Critical Issue:

A fire arms manufacturer required a work flow management system to track all requests for system changes in an SAP environment.  This was from the End User to the implementation to production.

The company’s auditor required an audit trail of all changes that to production and a process to monitor and report changes.  After evaluation of numerous canned packages, the client decided that a custom work flow request and monitoring system which better fit their environment was required.

Services Provided: 

We provided a web application that utilized the Active Directory for security to identify the use to the system.  Based upon accessing the first page, a personal assistant identified the tasks that required action by the user.  Each task required an approval, rejection, or modification based upon the role of the user.  The system tracked the progress of all requests based upon monetary thresholds, business critical requirements with predefined workflows.

Results:

This system is in production and is used for all information technology requests.  From service patch requests to report requests; this system tracks and reports all changes to the Production systems for the business.
