iPad/SharePoint Integration

Critical Issue:

Our client needed help automating and integrating a custom website and iPad application into SharePoint 2010 to replace InfoPath forms that had a bad user interface for the iPad for a large bottling company.

Project Roles Provided:

Custom Software Development, Custom SharePoint Development, Custom iPad Integration, Testing and Training

Technologies Used:

Visual Basic.Net (VB.Net), ASP.Net, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, Web Services, SharePoint 2010, InfoPath

Services Provided:

We provided a web application that returned a list of list in the SharePoint 2010 farm that the user had access to see.  The client would then select a list and the software w0ould generate the code need for the iPad using JQuery, JavaScript, JSON and some HTML.  The iPad would then reformat this information, display a disconnected form and save XML for a later push back into SharePoint. Once connected, the iPad app would use our code again to save the information back to SharePoint as a list item or InfoPath form.

Results:

Our client met the deliverables and is in the process of releasing the new applications.
